“My inspiration comes from the aesthetics and traditions I absorbed growing up in Italy and the visual stimuli of living in New York and Upstate NY.”

Her childhood spent surrounded by the beauty and history of a northern Italian region called Emilia Romagna, Ippolita Ferrari's roots are reflected in the magical symbolism of her jewelry and the bold shapes and colors of her house ware.

A graphic designer by training, she now mainly works with clay, sharing her time between Brooklyn and Upstate NY with her husband, kids, dog and cats. Her inspiration comes from all her surroundings, the city aesthetics and the natural beauty of the country side.

Intentionally imperfect, Ippolita’s pieces are crafted and painted by hand one at a time, with distinctive and unique variations in shape and color. She only use premium stoneware and fine porcelain. The jewelry just uses high quality, gold filled metals.
