Her childhood spent surrounded by the beauty and history of a northern Italian region called Emilia Romagna, Ippolita Ferrari's roots are reflected in her magical symbolism of her jewelry and the bold shapes and colors of her stoneware.
Her pieces are handcrafted and hand painted one at the time in her studio in High Falls, Upstate New York.
All the jewelry is made of fine porcelain and only uses high quality, gold filled metals.
The houseware is either hand build or thrown on the wheel, and glazed with customs glazes.
All the pieces are fired a very high temperature which ensures great durability.
